Start Your Adventure from Husky Kennel and Mush Through Lapland’s Snowy Wilds

Once you have bundled up in warm, soft clothing, which we recommend and provide for your comfort, your guide will take you on a scenic 30 minute drive from Rovaniemi to a lovely husky kennel. As you leave the city behind, you can enjoy the magical snowy forests and breathtaking winter landscapes of Lapland.
At the kennel, you will be welcomed by the mushers and the excited barking of their friendly dogs. You will meet your dog team and receive safety instructions along with helpful tips on how to drive the sled. When you are ready, your sled adventure begins with a ride through the beautiful winter scenery, covering about 10 kilometers. The journey usually takes around one hour to one hour and fifteen minutes, depending on the weather conditions. Each sled accommodates two adults, with one driving and the other riding as a passenger. For safety reasons, only guests aged 18 or older may drive. You are welcome to switch roles between the driver and passenger halfway through the journey.
On all our excursions, our groups are limited to a maximum of eight people, although there may be other customers present at the husky kennels. We believe it is important to provide you with the best possible experience and to avoid mass tourism. With smaller groups, your guide can get to know you, respond to your needs, and answer any questions you might have. We also carefully select our partners based on ethical and responsible values, promoting more authentic and respectful tourism in Lapland.
