Get a taste of the mushing lifestyle with this unforgettable hands-on adventure. Ideal for beginners and families, this tour invites you to drive your own dog sled through a stunning winter landscape, with guidance from our experienced mushers every step of the way.
 
Before setting off, you’ll be introduced to our friendly Alaskan Huskies and receive a brief, informative session on mushing techniques and sled safety. Then, it’s time to hit the trail – gliding through snow-covered forests and along gentle paths, you’ll feel the exhilaration of leading your own husky team through the Arctic wilderness.
 
Whether you’re curious about dog sledding or simply looking for a unique Arctic experience, this is the perfect way to start your mushing journey.

If you are staying in the city center, we would kindly ask you to come to our office (our address: Rovakatu 24, 96200 Rovaniemi) and start the tour from there.

Please note

The tour operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. Cold weather clothing and boots can be provided if needed.

Only guests older than 18 years are allowed to drive the sleigh.

Hotel pick-ups commence 10 – 60 minutes prior to the start time. Your pick up time will be confirmed by email.

NOTE: As this is a partner tour we cannot guarantee the number of guests on location at the husky kennel.

What do I need to bring?
  • Bottle of water,
  • We will provide you with overalls and boots, but please be prepared and use good under-layers, socks, hats and gloves.
Cancellation Policy
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event,
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event,
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 365 days or less before the event.
